mccann25, 4 years ago | FlagI love Taylor Swift, and I love Carrie Underwood. Nothing against Taylor, but some of her songs are simple in nature, Carrie even though she doesn't write much, her's are Complex in nature. I quit listening to Taylor's CD a year ago, and only started listening to Taylor's CD again after her concert, Carrie however I have never stopped listening to Carrie's CDs and that goes even for her first album "Some Hearts" that came out in 2005 as well as "Carnival Ride" that came out in 2007. George Strait doesn't move much in concert or even on his Astrodome DVD, but he's still won "Entertainer of the Year". George Strait can't hit the notes Carrie Underwood can, but he's still been entertainer of the year. I would still be number 1 in line to see Taylor, George or Carrie anyday. Taylor is a talented and gifted singer song writer, Carrie has a very big superb beautiful set of pipes, that ranks right up there with Martina. You just can't compare Taylor to Carrie or even to George for that matter, they are very different and unique artists in their own right. I have seen Carrie in concert 3x since 2006 (Spencer- IA, Omaha, Sioux City) and have only seen Taylor once, but If I had to chose I would spend my money on Carrie Underwood. Despite what I heard on the radio Carrie put on a great show, even Bruce Miller of the Sioux City Journal said Carrie put on a great show.
