Hello again all! I put in a two-hour session last night and I am finding myself getting a lot better at endurance and doing the proper warmups to get in a great workout. I did an hour in "Extreme Ride" last night and let me tell you it's getting better but that class isn't for the faint of heart! You do an hour of different endurance levels and all are built to push and shock your muscles into a positive response that builds your endurance level and puts your heartrate at a level that really burns calories. This class in essence turns the body into an engine, a fat burning machine if you will and I want to do it now because I find myself wanting to push harder and further to peak at that new level and feel good about it and know I had a positive workout. In three experiences with "Extreme Ride" I can tell you it's gotten better every time, I may not be ready for any bike races anytime soon but it's one heck of a good cardio and leg workout! lol I came out of that class and did some circut training as I had described in previous workouts as upper body stuff, biceps and triceps, on a machine with different resistance pulleys for a particular part of the body. We then did some core workouts and for the first time I did upright core stuff and worked with an exercise ball. I had seen the exercise ball on TV but had never used one till now. It does work it's a little weird to use for a big dude and till you get used to it you tend to roll around a little more than you might like on it but I'll get it down eventually LOL! After we checked out last night I entered the info into the go fit computer and found that I had burned just over 3000 clories in an hour and 40 minutes! The key to continued weightloss of course is to keep that intake down to healthy foods and smaller portions. This is a great thing offered during the Desperate Measures class not only workouts built specifically for you but nutritional advice to maximize results. The class dates for November are in my previous blog along with Melissa's email to get signed up and other details you might need but hurry they are getting people singed up and their information entered into the system now! If you'd like to sign up email Melissa NOW and let's get to 15 for November and remember tell them Ronnie Lee sent you!! Free Training tonight and tomorrow and Saturday Sunday off for me. Weigh in on Monday to begin week four, highlights of which will include water aerobics on Tuesday, wish me luck! I feel really good, this is great!
