Desperate Measures Week Four, That's a Wrap!

I  think things are getting better and my endurance is still being challenged at times but continuing to improve.  I finally did Water Aerobics on Tuesday and it was pretty fun.  I was sore after the next day but did get a good resistance workout in the pool and it was good to get back in a pool hadn't been swimming in quite a while.  Wednesday I did an hour of "Extreme Ride" and we got started a little late due to some of the trainers goin down from the flu!  Can't stress this enough regular Flu, Influenza A and of course the Swineroo or H1N1 is goin around so take good care of yourself and wash your hands and keep fingers away from your mouth!!  A gym is a very important atmosphere for this type of activity to flurish but if you follow the rules of Gym ettiquette which are included in one of my blogs prior to beginning this program you will be A ok.  The other big factor to remember is by getting healthier and more physically fit is that not only will you minimally decrease your risk of contracting these strains you may also fight them off much better if you do!  I did a number of lower body workouts including squats and core workouts like crunches of different types both using and exercise ball and I believe on a lateral bench? or some type of bench that uses a 45 degree angle to make your crunches really effective, or burn more whichever the case may be! lol  I guess my trainer tells me if you can feel it that means it's working!  I am looking forward to next weeks weigh in on Monday and we shall see what week five brings.  I do know that I want and need to get better and being able to do crunches and a few other things because my core is what I really want to target and everything else is gravy...ooooo bad choice of words, I did really used to like gravy though. LOL  Regardless things are going really well and I think 20 pounds is a very realistic goal for the completetion of this program.  I am taking tonight off doing cardio on Friday and then Sat and Sun off.  Eat light and healthy and think light and healthy....lol See Ya'll Monday!!!  $75 Registration fee.  If this sounds like something you want to do and I've had a number of you saying you want to then email mwalker@siouxlandy.org directly so you can sign up for the class and get any more details you may need.  Make sure to tell them Ronnie Lee told you to email.  Let's Get to 15 and Get HOT for the Holidays!  Class Starts Monday November 9, 2009 and end Saturday December 19, 2009. Mon and Wed 5:30pm to 6:30pm Sat 9am – 10am
