Puppy Questions

Hey guys,

As you may know, I just got a new companion. Her name is Emerson and she is an 8 week old West Highland Terrier. This is my first puppy and I have a few questions for you pet owners.

How long will it be until she knows her name?

How long does potty training generally take?

Any other tips you could lend me?!?

  • Josie, it may take a few weeks before she knows her name...use her name alot and that has helped in the past for my dogs. Hopefully potty training won't take long unless she is stubborn like mine was.
